Grades used in the Danish vocational education and training system

A number of different verbal scales are used.

Hairdressing is the only area where a gold medal indicates the highest possible grade. The gold medal grade in the field of hairdressing is equivalent to a silver medal in other education and training programmes.

7-point grading scale

The 7-point grading scale is the ordinary grading scale in use throughout the Danish education system, including vocational education and training. Read more about the 7-point grading scale and the 00-13 grading scale used until 2007/8:
