It is the government’s aim that university study programmes must ensure that young people receive a high-quality education and a solid foundation for engaging in lifelong education.
The Danish universities are extremely important to Denmark’s
competitiveness, growth and prosperity. The keywords in this context are
research-based education and research of a high international quality
and standard.
The Ministry of Science, Innovation and Higher
Education is responsible for university research-based education at the
Danish universities. The universities offer research-based education at
undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate levels.
The Danish Agency for Universities and Internationalisation carries out the Ministry’s primary activities within this area.
The Agency also supports the internationalisation of education and training in Denmark and is responsible for assessing foreign qualifications.
