The Council for Internationalisation of Danish Education

The aim of the council is to advice the government about internationalisation of Danish education at all levels. The council reports to the Minister for Science, Technology and Innovation, the Minister for Education, and the Minister of Culture. The council was established in 2007.

For the term 2010-2012, the members of the council are:

  • Hans Peter Jensen, chairman, formerly Rector at Technical University of Denmark.
  • Charlotte Mark, Managing Director and Site Leader at Microsoft Development Center Copenhagen.
  • Dorte Salskov-Iversen, Vice President at Copenhagen Business School.
  • Gunn Mangerud, Head of Department at University of Bergen.
  • Hans Siggaard Jensen, Head of Department at School of Education, University of Aarhus.
  • Henrik Sveidahl, Principal at Rhythmic Music Conservatory.
  • John Edelsgaard Andersen, Head of Division at University of Copenhagen.
  • Laust Joen Jakobsen, Rector of University College UCC.
  • Lisa Christensen, Principal at Rugkobbelskolen.
  • René van Laer, Director at Business Academy Copenhagen North.
  • Vibeke Thornvig Johnsen, Principal at College of Technology and Business.
